Top Ten Things On My Reading Wishlist (if you could make authors write about these things you would. Could be a specific type of character, an issue tackled, a time period, a certain plot,  etc.)

1. More Books About Witchcraft!
I’m currently working on my own book about witches but just because my work in progress is about witches, doesn’t mean I don’t want more! :] Charmed is one of my favorite TV shows and I’d love to see more of that in books. Preferably with the characters being in their twenties. The only books I have read that are in the NA genre are all basically just romance and sex (which don’t get me wrong, I LOVE, but I’d love to see more than JUST the sex and romance). :]
2. More Paranormal Mixed With Sci-Fi!
I can never grow old of the paranormal. I’m not quite sure why. But I always want MORE. So, I don’t care what it is whether it be witches, vampires, werewolves, etc. I just want MORE!
3. More Holiday Themed Books in YA/NA!
This past holiday season I attempted to read some holiday themed books and I accomplished a few but there weren’t a whole lot to choose from. I wish that there were more so that I could read more of the holidays to help me get in the holiday spirit. (Not that I need much help, I LOVE Christmas!) But I want the movie Love Actually in book form. Or something along those lines. (But again, about people in their twenties)
4. More Alternate History Books!
I always find it fascinating when people take things from the history books and tweak just one thing that changes the entire future! Like what if Queen Elizabeth the first had children? Or what if Anne Boleyn was never beheaded? (on a Tudors kick at the moment) But I totally want more of these type of things! :]
5. A Modern Version of Nancy Drew or Veronica Mars!
I loved Nancy Drew when I was growing up and I’d love to see a new character in the modern world who does what she did. I also loved Veronica Mars and I’d love to see more of those crime fighting teens/twenty something’s doing more of that :]
6. More Classic Retellings!
I’m in love with Jane Austen and the Bronte Sister’s and I would love to see more retellings of any classic book!
7. More Road Trips!
I can never get enough of road trips! I want more books about road trips!
8. More Books About Bookish People!
I love being in love with books and I’d love to see more characters who are like me in that way.
9. More World Building Books!
I love books that create their own worlds and I love getting to know these worlds and imagining how it would be to live in those worlds. I’d definitely like to see more World Building!
10. More Books With Characters In Their Twenties!
I want more depth, but I still want the amazing feeling I get from when I read YA. I just want that with more depth, more everything! Deeper feelings and characters discovering who they are and what they’re doing with their life like I am and I’m almost 24.
What’s your Top Ten?

Anna and the French Kiss [Review]

My Thoughts: Oh my goodness. This book was easily one of my favorite books I read in 2013. Unfortunately, I hadn’t had the time to do many reviews, so I am doing one now. But I read this book within a 24 hour time period. I could not put it down! I literally ignored my […]
