Top Ten Books That Will Make You Cry:

1. My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult
I remember reading the ending of this book while on a two hour car ride home and the entire time I was bawling. But it is one of the reasons why I love Jodi Picoult. Controversial issues and lots of feels.

2. A Rose For Melinda by Lurlene McDaniel
Oh my lord, Lurlene McDaniel knows how to make one cry. A lot of her books make me cry.

3. Never Eighteen by Megan Bostic
I remember shedding some tears with this book. But I also remember writing in my review (here) that it could have had a bit more with the feels. It was supposed to be sad and I felt like I should have been bawling my eyes out by the end, but I had only shed a few tears. Still a good book though!

4. A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks
Nicholas Sparks is the male version of Lurlene McDaniel with the feels.

5. Atonement by Ian McEwan
I had to read this for one of my college courses and it was just sad. Good but sad.

6. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
All I can say is… so sad.

7. The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
A few of Dessen’s books make me shed some tears.

8. Night by Elie Wiesel
Anything dealing with the Holocaust is bound to make me cry. I just hate how people are so stupid and how they can treat other people that way.

9. Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls
If you don’t know what part I’m talking about…

10. A Child Called “It” by Dave Pelzer
Ugh, again, I cannot believe there are people who treat other human beings this way. Disgusting.

What were your top ten?
