So, there have been some books that I have read in the past year or so that I just forgot to write a review for. There are also others that I either DNF’d or just don’t have enough to say for a full size review. So, for those books I will be putting them into these mini-reviews that I will post periodically.

Title: Nearly Broken
Author: Devon Ashley
Series: Nearly #1
Genre: New Adult/Young Adult, Romance, Suspense, Contemporary
Published: June 4, 2013

Where To Get:

Okay, my thoughts on this one are few and far between. I gave this a solid 3 of 5 stars. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. It was a different subject that I usually read and I’m not saying it was the subject matter because I wouldn’t mind reading more dark/tough issue books, this one was just… mediocre. Will I continue in this series? I’m not sure yet.

Title: Daughter of Smoke and Bone
Author: Laini Taylor
Series: Daughter of Smoke and Bone #1
Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy, Paranormal, Angels/Demons, Romance, Magic

Where To Get:

Why the mini review for this one? Because I forgot to give a full review of this when I read it over a year ago! This is a solid 5 star book! I loved every second of this book. I loved Laini’s writing style. I pushed this on a few of my friends in real life and they loved it. I will definitely be continuing in this series for sure! And anything else that Laini Taylor writes!

Title: Delirium
Author: Lauren Oliver
Series: Delirium #1

This was another one that I loved and just forgot to write a review for. So here it is on my first mini review post. This was another 5 star book. I read it a year ago and loved it! It was my first Lauren Oliver book and it won’t be the last. Her writing is superb. I will definitely be continuing this series.

Let’s talk about it. Did you read any of these books? If so, what did you think of them? If not, do you want to read them? Leave your thoughts in the comments! 🙂

Great mini reviews! I would have loved to seen a full review of Daughter of Smoke and Bone but I’m so glad you enjoyed. It’s been on my TBR list for quite some time and I’ve only ever heard positive things about it and the plot sounds so intriguing! I can’t wait to get into this series!!
