Book to Movie/TV Adaptations
I love it when the books I read turn into movies or TV shows. It’s one of the best feelings in the world. Because not only do I love reading, but I love it when I get to actually see that book come alive. Now, granted, most of the time I like the book more or I thought the book was better. But there are some instances where I like the movie/TV show more.
The Ones That The Movie/TV Show Is Better:
1. The Vampire Diaries
When I read the first part of the series: (The Awakening, The Struggle, The Fury, Dark Reunion) I loved them. And when they made it into a TV show, I was excited but when I saw the first episode, I was pissed! Elena didn’t have her blonde hair, Bonnie was a redhead, Elena didn’t have a younger brother she had a MUCH younger sister, etc. But then the more I watched of The Vampire Diaries, the more I loved it. And then it became that I loved the show more than the books, even if Bonnie wasn’t a redhead anymore :/
2. Fifty Shades of Grey (the UNRATED version)
I’m not going to lie, I devoured this book series. But, I have to say, I loved the movie so much more. For the main reason, this is definitely a series to watch rather than read 🙂

  1. I will be there to see Pride Prejudice and Zombies!!! Didn't know it was becoming a movie! I don't usually like books into movies, but I think what ruined it for me was the movie version of Eragon. So terrible and not like the book. However, I really liked The Chronicles of Narnia. I think they did a great job with the movie adaptation.

  2. I haven't read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies yet. I haven't decided if I want to… But I'm super excited for Miss Peregrine's, I haven't read that yet either HOWEVER, it's a Tim Burton production and I LOVE TIM BURTON!!

Yes, they did great on Narnia!
