It was a very exciting day, even for the people who did not get chosen for the Street Team.
Because of this excitement and how excited I am for this book to come out. I am giving away 2 Pre-Order Hardcovers for this book! ONE US and ONE INTL! (as long as The Book Depository ships to you!) So join in on the fun every Tuesday and learn more about this series that has stolen so many hearts already!

Author:Susan Dennard
Series:The Witchlands #1
Genre:Young Adult, Paranormal, Fantasy
Published By:Tor Teen
Coming out on January 5, 2015

On a continent ruled by three empires, some are born with a “witchery”, a magical skill that sets them apart from others.

In the Witchlands, there are almost as many types of magic as there are ways to get in trouble—as two desperate young women know all too well.

Safiya is a Truthwitch, able to discern truth from lie. It’s a powerful magic that many would kill to have on their side, especially amongst the nobility to which Safi was born. So Safi must keep her gift hidden, lest she be used as a pawn in the struggle between empires.

Iseult, a Threadwitch, can see the invisible ties that bind and entangle the lives around her—but she cannot see the bonds that touch her own heart. Her unlikely friendship with Safi has taken her from life as an outcast into one of reckless adventure, where she is a cool, wary balance to Safi’s hotheaded impulsiveness.

Safi and Iseult just want to be free to live their own lives, but war is coming to the Witchlands. With the help of the cunning Prince Merik (a Windwitch and ship’s captain) and the hindrance of a Bloodwitch bent on revenge, the friends must fight emperors, princes, and mercenaries alike, who will stop at nothing to get their hands on a Truthwitch.

Let’s talk about it.
Were you lucky enough to get an early copy of Truthwitch? If so, did you love it? If not, why do you want to read it?

Gosh, why am I excited?! So, so many reasons – first and foremost how hot does Merik sound, and Sooz's pinterest board of him is positively steaming. Secondly, the epic friendships between Safi and Iseult sound like the pillar that this series will be built on. The witchery's sound awesome – how they can control and do amazing stuff with their element – air, fire, earth, aether, void, water!! There are just so many cool things about this series, I can not wait to read!!

Oh I also commented on your WOW this week – and of course, its the epic Truthwitch!! Gah, so excited for this book.

  10. I left a comment about this book on your WOW post, as well. Why am I so excited about it? I just think it's a great story about witches and magic! I love the different categories of witches in the novel, and the plot sounds like it will be full of action and lots of unexpected twists. I've never read anything by this author before, and I've heard lots of good things about her (Megan's comment is a good example), so I'd really like to start with this book!

Thanks so much for the giveaway!! : )
