“There is no pretending,” Jace said with absolute clarity. “I love you, and I will love you until I die, and if there is life after that, I’ll love you then.”

“And I’m supposed to sit by while you date boys and fall in love with someone else, get married…?” His voice tightened. “And meanwhile, I’ll die a bit more every day, watching.”

“I am a man,” he told her, “and men do not consume pink beverages. Get thee gone woman, and bring me something brown.”

This is the book I was WAITING and NEEDING to get to within this series. I am SO happy about this book it isn’t even funny! Things wrapped up very nicely with all of the characters. I was so happy to see Jocelyn back. I was so happy to FINALLY see Clary and Jace together because YOU ARE NOT SIBLINGS, morons! I can’t believe it took until book 3 for them to get together.

There were a few things that I had predicted and I was right. I loved Izzy even more in this book. And Simon grew on me even more as well. And let me tell you, I am TOTALLY shipping the whole Alec and Magnus thing that is happening! 🙂

I feel like this totally could have been a trilogy, and I believe it was originally intended to be. This book totally left me completed. But now that Clary and Jace are together. I am STOKED to find out what happens with them in the next 3 books! It is going to be SO AWESOME to see them together for more than a few pages! 🙂

Let’s talk about it!
Did you read City of Glass? Or any other of Cassie’s books? What did you think of them? Who is as excited about Lady Midnight as I am??!!? I mean, have you seen that cover?! TAKE A FREAKING LOOK AT IT! Leave your thoughts in the comments! 🙂
