Making Waves is a weekly question feature created by the Waterwitch Babes (part of Susan Dennard’s Truthwitch Street Team).  Every Thursday, we’ll have a fun question that all are welcome to answer on their blog.  Anyone can join! The questions will be random and/or relate to the upcoming book Truthwitch by Susan Dennard.  A linky is provided so that everyone can link up their post and participate in the fun!
To participate, we do ask that you use the Making Waves banner in your post and link back to the Waterwitch Babes blog.

Making Waves: Where do you live? What is magical about your city for you?

I live in the suburbs of Chicago. But I will be highlighting the Windy City instead of my hometown, because my hometown is boring! 🙂 The skyline of Chicago at night is just MAGICAL in itself! I love our skyline so much! It is beautiful!

Fried Egg Burger at Kuma’s called the: Kuma Burger

Chicago also has some of the best food in the US. There is this place called Kuma’s Corner and I’m telling you, it is one of the best burgers, ever! Not to mention, their Mac N’ Cheese is also glorious! I’ll be a sad lady if I ever move away from this city, mainly because of the food! 🙂

Buckingham Fountain is also magical in the senses that it is also beautiful during the day or at night.

The Sears Tower. Anyone who doesn’t live in Chicago or never visited Chicago, you will know this building as the Willis Tower, but I’m sorry, it will forever and always be known as The Sears Tower. I will never call it anything else and neither will a lot of people. There is this place on the skydeck of the Sears that you can step on and see through the bottom. It’s called “The Edge” and it is gorgeous, but way too scary for me to do. One day, I will!

Next Week’s Question: Happy Halloween! Feature something spooky and Truthwitch themed!

Want to join in on the fun? Link up your Making Waves post! 🙂

  1. Oh wow, I didn't know the edge was in Chicago! I thought it was in NYC for some reason. I think I would like to go on that ledge someday, although I will be scared to death I'm sure. 🙂 But the picture opportunity is amazing! I hope to visit Chicago someday too!
