Top Ten Historical Settings You Love or Would Like To See/Futuristic Settings You Love or Would Like To See:

1. Chicago, IL USA
I am always down for anything that takes place in my home city! Historical, Futuristic, Present? I don’t care, just give me more Chicago! 🙂

2. France, Europe
I will always have some weird obsession with France. I took French in high school and I’m literally obsessed with anything French. So, I will gladly take more French settings

3. Eastern Europe
I am very intrigued by this area. In College, I took an Eastern European History class and it was so interesting and there are so many folklores over there. I think it’d be interesting to see more books set in Eastern Europe!

4. Space
I am in dire need of more YA Space Opera-like novels. I loved the Starbound Trilogy (well the first 2 books, I haven’t read the last one yet), I enjoyed Alienated and I am currently reading Illuminae and I AM LOVING IT. I want more YA Space!

5. The South, USA
I am a country girl at heart. I would love more southern gothic, southern romances, maybe some taking place around the civil war, or basically ANYTHING 🙂

6. England, Europe
Who doesn’t love English accents? YES PLEASE <3

7. New Orleans, LA USA
One of my favorite vacations was New Orleans. I had a blast and it’s too bad that I only got to spend a day and a half in NOLA because the cruise we were going on was porting from there. I only got to experience Bourbon Street and some of the food. But I would love to experience ALL OF NOLA <3

8. Hawaii, USA…Or Any Island Really
Who doesn’t want to escape to a beautiful island? I could go for any romance in the islands or even a thriller/horror/mystery. Basically anything. 🙂

9. Ancient Egypt
Give me more ANCIENT EGYPT in YA, please! 🙂

10. Ancient Greece or Ancient Rome
Speaking of Ancient countries. I’d love more mythological stories taking place in Ancient Greece or Rome. 🙂

What’s on your top ten this week?

Any of these make it to your list? Leave me a link in the comments!
