What Happened This Month?

  1. It’s hard to believe that I’m graduating high school in a few weeks. Unfortunately… senioritis is catching up and trapping both my coblogger Lupe and me in its jaws – we do things, but we’ve just lost the motivation. Maybe a hiatus is on the horizon. O_o
  2. I got my college schedule (and financial aid info)! Eighteen credit hours is probably overwhelming, but I’m going to try it out and see how it goes (it was probably done on purpose so I can graduate in 3.5 years rather than 4 years).
  3. I finally got a new phone, which means I can be more active online and Lupe and I can have our usual emoji wars for longer periods of time (among other random mischief and mayhem).

What Happened This Month?

  1. I nearly drowned under conference writing, report writing, sudden student meltdowns, and middle school girl drama stress.
  2. BUT, I officially decided to pursue getting a Master’s degree in Literacy Education, built myself a new desk (with a bookshelf!), and found out that next year I will probably be moving to teach the younger age group that better reflects both what I’m certified to teach and what I want to teach.

Sing Along Saturday [3]

Posted April 30, 2016 by Stephanie in Meme / 1 Comment

Sing Along Saturday is a new meme hosted by my good friend Katrina @ Bookish Things and More! Every Saturday there will be a different theme and you have to share a song that goes along with that theme! I think it’s a great idea and I am going to start participating in it and I’d love to see all of your Sing Along Saturdays!

Dancing Groove – What Song Gets You In The Dancing Mood?

Let’s Talk About It

HAHA. Joe found out about 2 years ago that whenever Cotton Eye Joe comes on, I get up and do that damn dance to this song. So, he randomly puts it on (because he thinks it’s hysterical) and my legs start moving. EVERY. TIME. It doesn’t matter if I am eating or if I am laying in bed ABOUT TO FALL ASLEEP, I hear the song…I start dancing. I HAVE A PROBLEM!

Dragon Marked [Review]

Posted April 24, 2016 by Sophia Lin in Review / 3 Comments

Coolest book about supernaturals ever? Erm… it could go both ways. What I Liked: Jessa has spunk and no filter. She has no problems giving people her two cents. Dragon shifters are awesome, hands down. The concept – a supernatural community just to guard a prison for supernatural criminals? Oh, and those prisons are being […]
