Wylie Dalton didn’t believe in fairy tales or love at first sight.

Then she met a real-life Peter Pan.

When Wylie encounters Phinn—confident, mature, and devastatingly handsome—at a party the night before her brother goes to juvie, she can’t believe how fast she falls for him. And that’s before he shows her how to fly.

Soon Wylie and her brothers find themselves whisked away to a mysterious tropical island off the coast of New York City where nobody ages beyond seventeen and life is a constant party. Wylie’s in heaven: now her brother won’t go to jail and she can escape her over-scheduled life with all its woes and responsibilities—permanently.

But the deeper Wylie falls for Phinn, the more she begins to discover has been kept from her and her brothers. Somebody on the island has been lying to her, but the truth can’t stay hidden forever.

My Thoughts

Okay, finally a book where I’m not gushing about the cover (but I’m totally gushing over the font and the font color used for the title).

Anyways… this goes right up the alley of instalove – she can’t believe how fast she falls for him. Yelp. However, I’m a sucker for retellings, and I’m willing to see how this goes, so…. may the odds be ever in my favor?

And now… over to you: what book are you waiting to release? Link me up and I’ll try my best to drop by (although with senior year closing down, it’s not too likely to happen, so I apologize in advance)! 🙂

I’m with you on the cover, nothing overly special but that font and colours used are gorgeous! I’m intrigued by the re-telling aspect of the book but instalove is a HUGE no-no in my eyes! I think I’ll skip this one because the insta-love has already turned me off it.
