Top Ten Eight Books I Read Because of Buddy Reads, Book Clubs, or Subscription Boxes
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
This was a buddy read around the time Scarlet was coming out. And I was SO hesitant to read it, because it just didn’t sound like something I’d like. But boy did I fall in love!
Divergent by Veronica Roth
I had wanted to read this. But I honestly don’t think I would have if it wasn’t picked as one of the “Reader’s Choice” reads. I did enjoy the story. I think I may bring back Reader’s Choice in the near future. What do you think?
The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord
I would have eventually read this book. But the main reason why I read it so close to it coming out was because it was picked in the Uppercase Box for April 2015 and I read it I think within a month or 2 of receiving it. And I loved it!!
The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
This was one of the book picks for our Square in Wonderland Book Club. It was the 2nd month we had been doing it and I loved this book! I read it within a 4 hour sitting!
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
This was another Square in Wonderland Book Club pick and it is still one of my favorite books to date! I cannot wait to read Becky’s newest book, The Upside of Unrequited, coming out in April!
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
This is yet another Square in Wonderland Book Club pick and I really enjoyed this one! We read this for one of the October picks last year!
Nefertiti’s Heart by A.W. Exley
I read this one for the Steampunk Reading Challenge that Katrina and I had started earlier this year and I really enjoyed it!
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
This was one that I had read for one of the book club picks for Bookish Lifestyle’s TBR Reading Challenge and I am so glad it was chosen! Laini’s writing is beautiful!
What’s on your top ten this week?

“Cinder” is a book I *still* have to read. But I did read Emery’s and LOVED it. So swoony, cute and basically, perfect! 🙂

OMG, you have to read Cinder! I was totally not expecting to fall in love with that series as much as I did! I have yet to read Winter, but that’s because I truly suck at reading last books! So glad to hear you read and loved Emery’s book! I still have to read her other ones!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Thanks, Stephanie! I’m anxious to read “Cinder,” so perhaps in 2017, I should make it a bookish goal to read the entire series. 🙂
Thanks for visiting Finding Wonderland this week.
