Top Ten Seven New To Me Authors I Read In 2017

**Book Covers are linked to the Goodreads pages and the written out titles are linked to the review from In Wonderland**

Full disclosure, this is not a very long list because I didn’t read a whole lot in 2017 and I am pretty sure, the majority of the books I did read were children’s picture books because I read to my daughter. So, for this list. I stuck with YA, NA, or Adult titles (which is what I primarily blog about)

Libba Bray

I read The Diviners in January last year and I absolutely loved it! I listened to the audiobook for the majority of it, and I highly recommend it! It’s creepy and mysterious and super entertaining. Plus, it transports you to the flapper era, which is just wonderful!

Brenda Drake

I read Thief of Lies last year and again really enjoyed it! It was my first experience with Brenda’s writing and it won’t be the last! I actually want to reread this one because I read it when my pregnancy brain was super horrendous (actually most of the books that I read in the beginning of 2017 I want to reread) and because of reading it during my pregnancy brain stage, I don’t really remember a lot of the plot. I just remember enjoying what I read. 🙂

Ashley Poston

I read and loved Geekerella. I will definitely be reading more of Ashley’s writing!

Samantha Young

I got into a huge NA romance phase at one point last year and I read On Dublin Street and I absolutely loved it! I am looking forward to reading more in that series and more by Samantha in general!

Sara Ney

I read the first book in the How to Date a Douchebag series and I flew through it in about 1 sitting. So, I really enjoyed it. And I’m reading the second one. But it’s taking me a while. And I’m not sure if it’s because some of the characters kinda did a 180 and aren’t acting like themselves or if it’s just this weird slump I’ve been fighting. But I really do want to finish the series!

Alessandra Torre

So, I read and loved Hollywood Dirt. I thought it was great. And then I watched the movie on Passionflix and loved it even more. It’s just so entertaining. 🙂

Kerri Maniscalco

I finally read Stalking Jack the Ripper and guess what?! I FREAKING LOVED IT!! Go read my review here. But oh mylanta, I will forever be a Kerri Maniscalco fan! 🙂

Let’s Talk About It!

What’s on your top ten this week?
