This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.
Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

This guy was sexy like it was his job or something.

We have to face difficulties to fin out what our true strengths are. How we come back from failure is a very valuable test.

“What do you want from me, Kai?”     “For starters?” His voice lowered to sexy, dangerous depths. “I want to introduce myself to every freckle on your body.”

You’re doing the bedroom-eyes thing again.

I felt you come alive when we kissed, and I know you’re afraid of that. Afraid to unleash that other side of yourself.

I really, really enjoyed this one! I thought it was so good! This book hit my expectations and then some! I really loved the aspect of the Seven Deadly Sins and how Higgins incorporated them within this story. I thought that it was really well done! And the writing was superb as well! Higgins totally had me hooked within the first few pages.

I enjoyed Anna as a character. She was very goody two shoes, but she was a great character and she grows within the story. And at the end of this story she isn’t the goody two shoes that she started out to be but she is still a good person. I really loved her character arc. I think Higgins did a great job with her.

Kai. Oh Lord, Kai. I definitely sigh for Kai! He is spectacular! I really loved him and his “lustful” ways. 🙂 It’s amazing how much control him and Anna had, because if I was in Anna’s position, I totally would have given in to the temptations of Kai. And I would not feel bad about it at all!

The rest of the gang within this novel, was just as great! I really loved getting to know the rest of the Neph and Anna’s friends. They were great additions within the already great story. And that ending. I need more because of that ending!

All-in-all, I felt that this was a great novel! It has a great story, amazing characters, and keeps you wanting more. I cannot wait to dive into the rest of this series and I cannot wait to see more of Wendy Higgins in the future!

Let’s talk about it!
