Time flies when you're plundering history.
Farway Gaius McCarthy was born outside of time. The son of a time-traveling Recorder from 2354 AD and a gladiator living in Rome in 95 AD, Far's birth defies the laws of nature. Exploring history himself is all he's ever wanted, and after failing his final time-traveling exam, Far takes a position commanding a ship with a crew of his friends as part of a black market operation to steal valuables from the past. But during a heist on the sinking Titanic, Far meets a mysterious girl who always seems to be one step ahead of him. Armed with knowledge that will bring Far's very existence into question, she will lead Far and his team on a race through time to discover a frightening truth: History is not as steady as it seems.
In this heart-stopping adventure, Ryan Graudin has created a fast-paced world that defies time and space.

In this action-packed sequel to Frostblood, the future of Ruby's world and a court ruled by the love of her life depends on the uncovered secrets of her past..
Against all odds, Ruby has defeated the villainous Frost King and melted his throne of ice. But the bloodthirsty Minax that was trapped inside is now haunting her kingdom and everyone she loves. My Thoughts

I haven’t read the first book, Frostblood, yet. But I’ve heard amazing things about it and I’m super excited that book 1 came out in January and book 2 is coming out in September. Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of this one! 🙂 Plus, I am in love with the covers for this series!!! They are so pretty!

Omigoodness this was a creepy one! I’ve had this book sitting on my TBR shelf for way too long, so in the spirit of Halloween I decided to pick it up. I totally didn’t think I would love it as much as I did! It takes place in 1920’s New York (are you sold yet?) […]

If you read my King Slayer review, then you might remember me mentioned just how much I love Fifer and Schuyler. So, it stands to reason that I was definitely counting down the days until The Chase released. And boy, was it satisfying. I loved getting inside Fifer and Schuyler’s heads, and their connection was […]

What a way to end a series. I absolutely adored The Witch Hunter, and The King Slayer did not disappoint. I successfully avoided my responsibilities and read it in a day…and it was totally worth it. As always, the characters are incredible and watching them change throughout this duology was a joy. We see characters […]

The Loose Ends List [Review]

My Thoughts I really enjoyed THE LOOSE ENDS LIST! I thought it was creative and realistic and just so darn cute! The first couple chapters I was a little skeptical because of the main character, Maddie. She acted a little too entitled for her own good. But she definitely made up for that by the […]

I really don’t know where to begin with this book other than to say that you need to read it. It’s phenomenal. It’s breathtaking. It’s impactful. I’ve struggled for weeks trying to formulate my thoughts into coherent sentences for this review, but I kept crying every time. That’s how much of an impact this […]

In the spirit of St. Patrick’s day, the girls and I thought it would be fun to put on a little mini-series of posts. Basically, we are here to answer one very pressing question: if you knew that the Leprechaun at the end of the rainbow was holding one book: ARC, published, special edition, signed, […]
